Police are trying to identify a man who is being treated for life-changing injuries following an incident at Hampton Wick station.

Officers were called to Hampton Wick station in Richmond on Tuesday, May 3 at around 10.30pm after reports of a man seriously hurt on the tracks.

Paramedics treat the man at the scene, and he was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

He remains in hospital and his injuries have been described as life-changing.

At this current time, police have been unable to identify the man or make contact with his family.

Police have released CCTV images to the public in an appeal to identify the individual.

He is described as white, around 40 years of age, with short dark shaven hair and beard.

He also has large distinctive tattoos on his chest and arms.

If anyone has any information that would help identify the man or his family should contact British Transport Police quoting reference number 200 on 03/05/22.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Detectives are releasing these images to identify a man being treated in hospital for life-changing injuries following an incident at Hampton Wick station.

“At 10.33am on Tuesday 3 May, officers were called to Hampton Wick station following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

“Paramedics also attended, and a man was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries, where he remains.

“The incident is not being treated as suspicious, but despite extensive enquiries, officers have been unable to identify the man and his family.

“The man is described as white, in his 40s, with short dark shaven hair and facial hair. He also has a number of large and distinctive tattoos on his chest and arms.
