Cadent's Network Manager has thanked residents for their patience and has also released a video confirming that engineering work still needs to be carried out in the TW9 area.

Cadent have also confirmed that its customer team has moved and is now based at a mobile command unit (MCU) on Sheen Road, near Waitrose between 9am-10pm.

Some residents living in the TW9 area are yet to receive gas supply and have been experiencing this for more than ten days.

This is mainly because water somehow managed to leak into service pipes and needs to be removed as a result.

Cadent's service pipes connect individual buildings to the gas main which located on residential roads.

This means that engineers are working systematically through streets in TW9 to resolve the issue.

So far gas supply has been restored in 700 homes however, Cadent is fully aware that there is still some way to go.

In the meantime Cadent have asked residents with concern's or queries to contact its staff on site or at its  mobile command unit in Sheen Road.

Alternatively residents can call Cadent on 0345 835 1111 or DM the network on social media.
