The woman who died in a car accident after a police chase through Wandsworth and Fulham has been named locally as Acacia Smith.
Known to friends as Caysha, she was a 25-year-old childcare worker.
A colleague said: "She had an extremely lovely personality.
"She loved kids more than anything.
"So sad to hear how soon she's gone. She had an amazing life ahead of her."
Ms Smith was the passenger in a car that was pursued by police after reports a drone was being flown near HMP Wandsworth in Earlsfield at about 3.04am on Wednesday morning.
Police followed the car, which crashed at the junction of Ashcombe Street and Wandsworth Bridge Road.
Ms Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a man in his 20s, believed to be Craig Kearney was heard to shout 'help me, help me', by a resident of the street.
He was taken to a west London hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
