Returning to school could mean further health restrictions in this times of lockdown
As the government prepares to reduce lockdown restrictions in the UK schools are due to return on the 8th of march. This may however have serious impacts; firstly on coronavirus stats and measures and secondly on students mental health.
Due to the fact that all students will have to take COVID19 tests twice weekly schools may shut again soon anyway, so why re open? Also as we have seen previously seen when schools reopen the cases go up but still the government is adamant to not learn from their previous choices.
Also due to COVID measures students will have to wear masks for the duration of their day at school which may be uncomfortable and hinder their ability to learn. If this is the case then we can expect a resulting decline in student test results due to lack of substantial learning.
