This month, Chiswick has had its highest amount of Covid-related deaths ever since the beginning of the pandemic.

Chiswick has suffered 16 deaths due to Covid-19 this month alone, bringing the total number of deaths in Chiswick due to Covid-19 to 55 deaths. This however is only due to the spike in infections over December, as infection rates have gone down in most areas in Chiswick since (the only areas in which rates have gone up in being Chiswick South East and Chiswick North East), despite Hounslow being the hardest hit borough in London, with an average of 155 weekly infections per 100,000 population, almost doubling London’s average of 83.

There are multiple Covid testing units around west London, so if you ever come into contact with someone infected with the virus, make sure to find your nearest testing location to help contain the spread.
