Diego Armando Maradona was a professional football player and manager for Argentina(he became the coach of Argentina's national football team in November 2008). He was widely regarded as one of footballs all time's greatest players, if not the best in the world and the most revolutionary player.

Unfortunately, on Wednesday the 25th of November 2020 he tragicly passed away due to a heart attack, in his Buenos Aires home. This had occured only 2 weeks after he had undergone surgery for bleeding occuring in his brain. Maradona was apparently looking very "down" and ill coming up to the day and his doctor noticed the change in his attitude and behaviour. However, they couldn't come to a final verdict of what the over arching issue was.

Maradona's life off the field was as notorious as his many victories, as was with the many scandals he was invloved in. One of which he was heavily addicted to cocaine by the mid-1980s, affiliated with the Naples mafia and had affairs. Also had struggled with fame and suffered for most of his life from obesity and other underlying health conditions.Maradona left Napoli in disgrace in 1992 after serving a 15-month suspension for failing a drug test for cocaine.He signed for Seville, where he remained for a year, amid interest from Real Madrid and Marseille. He played for Newell's Old Boys in 1993 and went back to Boca Juniors for a two-year spell in 1995.
