Especially during this moment, you probably want to go out and leave the house more than ever just because you're told not to. Am I wrong? I've noticed how much more precious the outside world is and the garden has not been doing it justice. Because of this pickle, I've had to occupy myself with a range of different things and I'd like to share the best things to do when bored.

Firstly, watch back old childhood movies and start a new series with a family member. Whenever you get into a programme it sucks you in like a vacuum and kills time whenever the time feels like it's moving slowly. I recommend a free 7 day trial of Disney Plus! Secondly, dig up old board games or cards to play and spend time with your family. You could even just discuss topics with them and hold debates. This way you're not missing out on socialising; it's very important to balance out introverted and extroverted. Thirdly, educate yourself both in your school work and further topics that interest you. Once you're engaged time flies and you exercise your brain and benefiting in cognitive development. This includes reading a book or expanding on your schoolwork by doing extra reading and notes, this way you won't lag behind but stay on top! Finally, you can take care of yourself, mentally and physically, from catching up on sleep, pampering yourself and exercising. I've recently started stretching and doing fancy stuff like face and hair masks which I normally wouldn't have had time to do on a regular day.

I hope this has inspired you to discover or revisit areas of things to do. It's not good to be on social media and in front of a phone screen 24/7 as it wastes your time in the least beneficial way. "You’ll find boredom where there is the absence of a good idea" -Earl Nightingale.
