Most students have their upcoming exams looming and will use their Easter holidays revising. This can be a stressful time of frantic flashcard making and answering endless practise questions. I am studying for my home language exam that I will take this year, so I know too well the stress of planning your time wisely and doing revision that works for you.

Here are a few examples of things you can try…

For languages, I find watching movies in the language you studying is a perfect way of learning new vocabulary and strengthening your existing knowledge. I find it may help you practice for your listening exam as you listen to dialogue. Making flash cards is also useful.

For math and science, I recommended practice questions to help apply your knowledge.

For English I highly recommended reading books as they help improve grammar and spelling.

Exam revision can be a stressful time and managing your time wisely can make sure that you have enough time to go over everything you need to. Make sure to take breaks (you could have a 10 min break every 30min), having a break lets you take a deep breath and give you a chance to have a drink of water beacuse while revising it is important not to forget to look after your body! Most teenagers do not know how to plan revision time but there are many resources you can find online that will help you to stay organized.

Good luck revising and I wish you all the best.
