On Tuesday 5th March, Norbury Manor Business and Enterprise College for Girls held a pancake day in which there was a pancake race held and then pancakes were distributed amongst the students with different toppings and spreads.
The pancake race consisted of many groups of 8 people, who signed up for the race, that will be physically engage on the day by running in a relay race and flipping the pancake in their pan twice to pass the pan on to the next runner. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd fastest team to run and complete all members were rewarded with gifts such as chocolate. There were many spectators and supporters that found the race entertaining, enjoyable and funny. At lunch time students were able to get a free pancake with the choice of some spreads and toppings like strawberries to personalise their food to their preferences the students appreciated the food and had a enjoyable day.
