On the morning of Thursday 20th of December, the sixth former students at NMBEC made a trip to Winter Wonderland located at Hyde Park in London, England. Upon arrival, the people entering through the gates were checked, and any liquid such as water bottles was advised to be thrown away. Winter Wonderland has many enjoyable activities such as ice skating, comedy shows, face painting and much more. The Winter Wonderland also offers many rides and a variety of food to appeal to a larger amount of audience with a range of budgets. At night, the place is bought to life as it is in full shimmer and glow from all the lights that give the place a warm Christmas feeling, also it is best to pick a date that is suitable as the weather, the time of day and how busy it will affect your visit.

After the visit I interviewed some of the students for their opinion and their criticism on their experience with the trip one student responded ‘It was good but we needed longer there’ as many felt that our time there was rushed and short and so many pupils couldn’t get the full experience Another person stated ‘It was great but expensive for us poor students’ this comment shows that despite the fact that there is no entry fee, money is still a vital factor to consider for the enjoyment of your trip to the Winter Wonderland as you will have to consider paying for the rides and the food which can affect your overall experience with your visit.
