This year Kew Gardens hosted a brand new trail lit up by over one million glistening lights which wound through the gardens. This year the event was held from Wednesday 22 November 2017 - Monday 1 January 2018. This winter, the Royal Botanic Gardens, was transformed into an enchanted wonderland as the much foreseen Christmas at Kew returned.

As the last four years had been so successful and amusing, Kew gardens have once again teamed up with entertainment promoter Raymond Gubbay Ltd.  Together they made an incredibly successful winter trail of lights.

The light show gives regular customers to the beautiful wildlife garden a new experience where the gardens are lit up and a magical atmosphere is created. The show was ideal for families and was bound to entertain all ages. It is the perfect place to bring the Christmas spirit alive as the lights had a Christmas inspired theme as there are illuminated snowflakes and Santa sleighs.

On the Royal Botanical Gardens, website Sandra Botterell, Director of Marketing and Commercial Enterprise said:

“Now in its fifth year, Christmas at Kew has become an integral part of the London festive calendar.  It’s not often that you get to explore a world famous botanic garden after dark, lit up by a never-ending sea of twinkling lights. This year’s night-time extravaganza will capture the magic of previous years, but will also offer a unique experience in itself, with a host of brand new breathtaking displays”
