Yoann Barbet has signed for QPR on a three-year deal.
The 26-year-old defender spent four years at Brentford before deciding to move to the Hoops when his contract expired this summer.
Frenchman Barbet made 117 appearances for the Bees after joining from Chamonix in 2015.
He will team up with former Brentford manager Mark Warburton who took charge of rivals QPR at the end of last season.
"I am really excited for this new challenge," Barbet told QPR official.
"QPR is a massive club with a big history so I am really happy.
“I will give everything. I am a really passionate player so as soon as I am on the pitch I give everything.
I try to lead the team and to help other players, to make them confident. I will do my best to help them in a good way and the team to do as best as possible.”
The move unsurprisingly re-ignited the bitter rivalry between the west London outfits on social media.
