Keith Andrews was full of praise for Brentford's hat-trick hero Kevin Schade as they ended 2025 with an emphatic 4-1 home win over Bournemouth.
The 4-1 win over Bournemouth was Brentford's first final win of a calendar year at home since 2020, which coincidentally was against the Cherries.
Asked about the game, Andrews said: "Yeah, good win. Good performance. Two different halves. First half I thought we were sensational. I thought we played some really good stuff, controlled the game with and without the ball.
"Could have created a little bit more from the territory we had and the opportunities we had, but yeah, overall, very, very pleasing afternoon."

One man who made headlines was Kevin Schade, who scored his second Premier League hat-trick in Brentford colours.
Andrews was pleased for the German on a personal level, having not scored in his previous five league games.
'Yeah, really pleased and one I feel he deserves. He works tirelessly for the team,", Andrews said.
"It's an attribute that we insist on for our attacking players that they have to run back as quickly as they run forward. He's a constant threat.
"I feel like in the last couple of weeks he's been starting to get into really good positions and getting really really close and today was a really nice hat-trick right foot left foot header.
"So it doesn't come more complete than that. He was excellent today."

With Brentford cruising, Antoine Semenyo's goal reduced the deficit to two and Bournemouth suddenly had their tails up, forcing Brentford in to unforced errors.
Asked whether Brentford's game management could be improved on that front, Andrews reiterated how well the Bees had started and how g
"I think there's always bits you can improve. Yeah, I think it's probably a good sign when we're winning 3-1 against a really good team like Bournemouth and we're picking holes in it, which we naturally will.
"They commit a lot of bodies forwards. They play a really high energy game that's difficult to control. We control pretty much large parts of the first half with that. We took the lead at start of the second half.
"We wanted to start in the front foot and we did that, got the third goal. They're always going to cause you issues. You've only got to look at their game against Manchester United a couple of weeks ago.
"How difficult opponents they can be. Very respectful for the way they set up and the way they play the game. And the individual quality that they have is very difficult to contain for a full game and I think overall we did that pretty well today."
