Here’s how the Brentford players rated in their 0-1 defeat to Leicester in the FA Cup 4th round.

Luke Daniels 6

The veteran goalkeeper had no chance with the Iheanacho goal. Made a number of key saves to keep the Bee’s in the game, particularly in the first half.

Mads Roerslev 6

Managed to deal with the threat of Albrighton well. Linked up well with Valencia down the right.

Julian Jeanvier 6

Didn’t have the best of games. The Bees were shaky in the centre of defence at times.

Luka Radic 6

Struggled to cope with the Leicester attack, particularly in the first half. Youngster had the best chance of the game for Brentford, forcing Danny Ward into a great save.

Dominic Thompson 6

The right footed left back looked unorthodox at times. Looked good when he got forward but didn’t get forward enough. Had a half chance at goal which he fluffed. The youngster struggled to cope with Gray at times who was dangerous going forward.

Dru Yearwood 6

A strong presence in midfield. However, his chances of getting forward were limited by the impressive Leicester display in the middle of the park from Praet and Choudhury.

Kamohelo Mokotjo 5

Oldest outfield player on the pitch today. Didn’t have the best of games and was overran and outclassed by the quality of the Leicester midfield. Paid the price for his poor performance and was substituted at half-time.

Emiliano Marcondes 8

The best Bee’s player on the pitch today. Continuously looked dangerous on the counter attack, but lacked support. Great passing ability and vision.

Joel Valencia 6

Lightening quick pace down the wing. Was forced to help out a lot defensively in the first half as Brentford found themselves under pressure from Leicester. Had a half chance at goal which he failed to take advantage of. Seems to be lacking an end product.

Jan Zamburek 7

Youngest Brentford player on the pitch today at just 18 years of age. Look calm and composed on the ball. Was dangerous going forward, working in tandem with Marcondes. However, at times he lacked strength and awareness in the final third. A good performance nonetheless.

Halil Dervisoglu 6

Tough game for the young forward. Looked good on the ball but he struggled to get service and was isolated up front at times. Had a chance to convert in the first half but his shot went narrowly wide.

SUBS

Joshua Dasilva

Attacking threat going forward. Proved to be better going forward than defensive midfielder Makotjo.

Rico Henry

Wasn’t too involved in the game, only featured for just over 10 minutes.

Bryan Mbeumo

Looked lively when he came on and had a goal ruled out for offside. Impact was limited as he was only on the field for the final eight minutes.
