Here's how the Brentford players rated in their 3-1 win over QPR.

David Raya 7

Flapped at a couple of crosses before eventually gathering. His long-range distribution however was on point and got the Bees on the front foot when dispatched early. Made a sublime save to deny Wells but could do little for the equaliser.

Rico Henry 6

Given a hard time down the left by Osayi-Samuel who prevented the usually attacking full-back to get forward.

Pontuss Jansson 7

Brentford’s best bit of business bar-none. Having played at Leeds for two seasons you can see the influence he has on those around him in dealing with hostile environments. Barring one header from Wells, he kept the usually lethal forward quiet.

Julian Jeanvier 6

Recovered from two poor passes early on. He and Jansson are growing into a formidable centre back pairing.

Henrik Dalsgaard 7

When you have such an attack minded winger infront of you, you want a solid, defence minded full-back. That’s exactly what Dalgaard is. Solid every week.

Kamohelo Mokotjo 7

The marauding South African seems to be morphing into a Romaine Sawyers. Looking comfortable on the ball he switches it with ease and is such a calming influence, not that his midfield partner Norgaard looks like he needs one.

Christian Norgaard 8

Does the dirty things no one sees. Has better feet than most give him credit for and got the ball wide from tight situations and set the Bees on the front foot.

Josh Dasilva 7

Fantastic feet to create the chance for Mbeumo early on and adds another threat from the middle of the park that a Mathias Jensen may not. With the ability to beat a man with his surprising turn of pace he is turning into a real player.

Ollie Watkins 8

Richmond and Twickenham Times:

His goal tally this season has proved Thomas Frank was right to stick with the former Exeter man. His movement off the ball to find space for the opener was Maupy-esque.

Said Benrahma 8

With trickery and speed that would puzzle Pen and Teller on a bus ride with Keanu Reeves, he looks head and shoulders above most in this division, until it comes to his final ball. More than once it let him down and had he made the right call you’d wonder how many the Bees could’ve scored.

Bryan Mbeumo 7

Fantastic delivery for the opener after missing a golden chance to break the deadlock himself. A run of games is doing him the world of good and with Watkins and Benrahma they look a real force on the counter attack.

Joel Valencia 6

Little time to make an impact but showed glimpses of real pace.

Mathias Jensen 7

Good vision to square for Watkins alte on.
