Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on a double swoop for Brentford pair Ollie Watkins and Neal Maupay.

Watkins, 23, gathered interest earlier in the season with both Arsenal and Tottenham looking at the midfielder, whilst Maupay’s 28 goals for the cherry and whites have made the hitman a target for a host of clubs.

A dip in Watkins’ form in the second half of the season quelled interest, but the Eagles see potential in the former Exeter City wide-man according to Sky Sports.

With 12 goals and nine assists across all competitions Watkin could provide the answer should much talked-about Ivorian Wilfried Zaha move-on.

The Eagles aren’t the only club reportedly keen on his signature, with newly promoted Sheffield United and Southampton monitoring the attacker.

Frenchman Maupay, 22, enjoyed a prolific season under both Dean Smith and Thomas Frank at Griffin Park as a host of clubs showed interest in the man the Bees bought for £1.6million from St-Etienne.

Brentford, despite being reluctant to sell either of their key players, would listen to offers of £30million for the pair such is the business model at the club.
