An award-winning photographer has produced a calendar to help raise money for a £1m refurbishment to Twickenham United Reformed Church.

Eden Breitz, who was recently awarded a Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society, has donated her photos to a limited edition calendar called TW2012, with all proceeds going toward the refurbishment works.

Fundraisers for the church in First Cross Road, Twickenham Green, have raised more than £450,000 since they embarked on refurbishment plans in 2008, through fairs, jumble sales, a quiz night, a promises auction and from donations from Hampton Fuel Allotments, church members and friends.

Jenny Samuel, from the church, said: “The renovation project is a mammoth under taking, by such a small congregation, which is in the heart of the community in that small corner of Twickenham Green.

“Many community groups rely on our premises in order to function, from the Townswomen’s Guild and the Beavers to Teddington Choral Society and the Hearing Support Group.”

TW2012 has just launched and is available from Albert’s Music Shop in Heath Road, Arthur’s in Twickenham Green, the Hampton Hill Christmas lights on Friday, November 25, and at the church’s coffee morning on Saturday, November 26.
