Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with an assault in Edinburgh in December.
The incident happened at around 9.20pm on Saturday December 29 when a 29-year-old man was walking home outside the Scotch Hop Bar in Causewayside.
He sustained facial injuries in the assault and was taken to St John’s Hospital in Livingston for treatment.
Police said the men, aged 31 and 29, are due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
