A water charity will be heading to Richmond to get residents thinking about climate change and its effects on water supplies and sanitation.
Christian charity WellFound will host a special event at the Old Town Hall, Richmond, on Thursday, April 12, as part of their turning water into wine campaign, aimed at raising money for people living in Burkino Faso.
The charity will donate money raised from the wine tasting even, which costs £135 per team of 6 or £25 per person, to projects in the Saharan country to help counteract problems of lack of water faced by those living in rural communities.
To get involved with the charity or book tickets for the wine tasting visit operationwellfound.org or email Philippa at events@operationwellfound.org.
