A Twickenham store handed kindly donated presents to children at West Middlesex University Hospital, as part of the company’s nationwide Christmas Gift Appeal campaign.
Access Self Storage, in Rugby Road, had been collecting toy donations for local children since October, and gave them to children on the Starlight ward in the Twickenham Road hospital.
As part of the appeal, Access Self Storage set up special drop off points in all 56 of their UK stores, where gifts will be collected, sorted and delivered to children in each store’s local area throughout December.
The donation collections were unveiled in traditional advent calendar style, with the Twickenham store opening its “advent door” on Wednesday, December 14.
Kevin Pratt from Access Self Storage said: “Christmas is a time of year to enjoy and we hope to put a smile on the faces of local children who are not as fortunate as others.”
