A volunteer service has urged potential trustees to come forward and help run charity groups.
Richmond Council for Voluntary Service will hold a recruitment event at York House, Twickenham, between 4.30pm and 8pm on Thursday, November 3.
David Sidonio, chief executive of Richmond Council for Voluntary Service, said: “If you want to use your key skills and abilities to support local communities, there’s no better way than by becoming a trustee.
“Trustees bring knowledge and experience gained in professional and other environments to local community organisations and, in turn, they’re rewarded by knowing that they have made a real difference and, in many instances, have gained new skills and experiences themselves.”
