Cancer patients from across the UK can now find support through a new dedicated programme designed to allow patients to better manage the physical, psychological and emotional side effects of cancer diagnosis and treatment.

The Cancer Survivorship Programme, which serves London and the South East, aims to educate cancer patients into the different avenues of complementary cancer support such as mind-body medicine techniques, psychological support, nutrition, exercise and meditation.

Sam Watts, Founder and Director of The Cancer Survivorship Programme, is passionate about supporting cancer patients. He says “There is a huge amount of research and evidence showing that cancer patients who actively adopt complementary techniques during their treatment see undeniable results. The Cancer Survivorship Programme offers patients the means to introduce the most effective of these treatments alongside their conventional cancer care”.

Sam continues, ‘We are dedicated to empowering patients, and look to help those who are willing to fight for their survival against cancer.’ The Cancer Survivorship Programme offers a number of different options for patients including an 8 week course where patients work through the different elements alongside other cancer patients, or one to one intensive sessions are also available.
