VULNERABLE residents in Bickley have been getting advice on how to report crimes more effectively.
The Bickley Safer Neighbourhood Team has been holding seminars to help people with learning difficulties tackle issues they face when reporting crimes to the police.
Held as part of a partnership with the Raglan Housing Association, crime prevention tips and advice on personal safety and home security were also shared.
It is hoped that the police will be able to provide a better service to people with learning difficulties as a result.
PSCO Serena Campion, from the safer neighbourhood team, said: βIt has been a pleasure to hold these seminars. These seminars will promote confidence in the police, thus enabling us to tackle any crime or anti-social behaviour that may affect them.β
