A large police presence turned out at a school fair, but only to teach youngsters the importance of staying safe.
A mascot from Richmond police was just one of the people to pop along to enjoy the fun at Marshgate Primary School’s summer fair, which raised a massive £16,500 for the Richmond school.
Youngsters and their parents were able to enjoy a go on the dodgem cars, bouncy castle and rodeo ride and watch zumba and street dance performances at the event on Saturday, June 11.
Year 6 pupils at the school also kept visitors well fed by selling cakes as part of their Young Enterprise challenge.
