Odds-on: Bookies have Vince Cable as favourite to leave Cabinet next
Vince Cable is odds-on favourite to be the next Government minister to leave the Cabinet, according to an online betting exchange.
The Business Secretary was yesterday 3:1 on to quit after Lord Oakeshott left the frontbench over Chancellor George Osborne's new banking deal.
Smarkets, a social betting exchange where users set their own odds, rated Lord Strathclyde as the second favourite to walk out, followed by Andrew Lansley and Eric Pickles.
