The mother of a murdered teenager was present as a new community cafe was opened in her memory.

Reflections, run by catering company Hampton Hampers, opened at the White House Community Association, in The Avenue, Hampton.

It has been dedicated to the memory of Marsha McDonnell – who was murdered by Levi Bellfield yards from her home in Priory Road, Hampton, in February 2003.

Her mother Ute McDonnell was at the opening of the cafe on Friday Much of the cash used to turn part of the building into the cafe was raised by a police liaison group.
