Take a stroll down the newly recreated juniper walk at Ham House and you will get a whiff of that most traditional of tipples, gin and tonic.
And your nose will not be mistaken because juniper is the core ingredient of gin.
The restoration of the juniper walk is just part of an ongoing programme to replicate Ham House's 17th century gardens in their entirety.
Mark Jaffe, of Gordons Gin, said: "Gin is a very British drink and, because juniper is the core ingredient, it made sense for us to work with the National Trust and restore the juniper walk at Ham House.''
