THE director of a bankrupt Whitton construction company has been banned from holding another management position for a period of seven years for failing to keep proper accounts and not filing tax returns.
Austin Jennings was the director of Rockfort Construction Ltd, which operated from his home address at The Ridge, Whitton.
The company was placed into voluntary liquidation in September 2000, with estimated debts of £115,657.
On February 1st he accepted an undertaking preventing him from being a director of a company or in any way being involved in the promotion, formation or management of a company for seven years.
The Insolvency Service found that Mr Jennings had failed to maintain adequate accounting records, caused Rockfort to trade to the detriment of the Crown and failed to file tax returns between 1999 and 2000.
