POLICE investigating the murder of Zoe Parker, whose dismembered torso was found in the Thames over a year ago, have arrested and bailed a man in his 50s.
The man, who was not identified, was arrested on January 31st after police received new information on the case, and was bailed to return on March 14th.
A murder hunt was launched after Miss Parker's body, which had been severed at the waist, was found washed up near Battersea Bridge on December 28th, 11 days after she went missing.
Her family issued fresh appeals for information on the BBC's Crimewatch programme in December 2001, on which her aunt, Pauline Knott, said the family had been devastated' by the murder.
Ms Parker, 24, had learning difficulties and was known to work as a prostitute. She was also went by the name of Cathy Dennis.
