A 28-year-old driver died after being thrown from a car in a smash which left his passenger with minor injuries.
Craig Buckley, of Hounslow, and his friend were travelling along the A30 towards Egham, when their silver Vauxhall Astra left the road at 6.55pm.
Mr Buckley was thrown from the car after it flipped several times.
He was taken to St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey but died a short time later.
His partner of five years, Serena Bennett, is said to be devastated at his death.
The road was closed until just after midnight on August 16 while officers from Surrey Police’s Collision Investigation Unit carried out a detailed examination of the scene.
