A TEAM of Inland Revenue advisors will be giving advice to local people over the new tax credits in The Treaty Centre, Hounslow next week.
The team will be at the High Street centre from 9.30am to 5pm on Thursday, March 20th, offering free help and advise to anyone who wants to find our about tax credits and if they are eligible to claim.
The New Tax Credits, Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit will help support families with children and help make work pay for low income workers. The New Tax Credits will start being paid in April and anyone who thinks they may be eligible to claim is advised to act now.
Credits will be paid to the main carer, and nine out of ten families will be eligible to claim the Tax Credits.
