Vodafone expands fibre broadband in Richmond and London

The move comes as part of a new partnership between VodafoneThree and Community Fibre.

Using Community Fibre's network, the broadband will offer symmetrical download and upload speeds of up to 2.2 gigabits per second (Gbps).

This means residents can choose from Vodafone's full fibre packages, including the new Pro 3 broadband, which boasts speeds up to 60 times faster than standard broadband.

Vodafone mobile customers can also benefit from a discount of up to £4 per month if they add broadband to their mobile plan.

The company has promised a smooth switch for those who want to change providers, offering to handle the switchover of plans and contribute £100 towards exit fees.

This expansion is part of a strategy to bring Vodafone's full fibre broadband to all 32 London boroughs and surrounding districts, making VodafoneThree the largest full fibre provider in the capital and the UK.

With this partnership, VodafoneThree's total full fibre footprint has grown to more than 21.5 million homes across the country.

This includes partnerships with other network providers, such as CityFibre and Openreach.

The partnership also marks a significant milestone in Community Fibre's growth, as it is London's largest and fastest full fibre-only broadband network.
