Police have released images of two men after disorder took place at Whitehall last week.
Following the death of three girls who were stabbed to death in Southport, the UK has experienced increased numbers of riots and disorder.
Video footage has circulated showing disorder taking place in Whitehall, with flares aimed at the gates of Downing Street and the words “stop the boats” heard chanted.
100 people were arrested on the night of Wednesday (July 31) and Metropolitan Police has reviewed “a huge amount of footage and other evidence” in a bid to identify any remaining suspects.
Images of two men have been released by Metropolitan Police, with anyone who recognises them urged to come forward.
In a statement Metropolitan Police said: “Anyone who recognises the men is urged to call 101, to message @MetCC on X or to call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
“Anyone calling or messaging should provide the reference 3414/10AUG and the number on the image.”
