A man and a woman were taken to hospital after being stabbed in a Dartford home during the early hours of Monday (November 21) morning.

Police were called to Trevithlick Drive at around 3.50am after a report that two people had been attacked.

The victims were taken to hospital for treatment, but their injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Ben Mash, 33, of Biscoe Close in Hounslow was arrested and charged on November 23 with two counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Police say that everyone involved was believed to be known to each other.

Mash was remanded the following day and will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 22 December.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called to an address in Trevithlick Drive in Dartford at around 3.50am on Monday 21 November 2022 to a report that two people had been assaulted.

“Parties were believed to be known to each other.

“A man and a woman sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds and were taken to a London hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not life-threatening.

“Following an investigation, Ben Mash, 33 of Biscoe Close, Hounslow (London) was arrested and charged on Wednesday 23 November with two counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

“He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court the following day where he was remanded.

“The case will next be heard at Maidstone Crown Court on 22 December."
