Two men are recovering after separate knife attacks in Lampton Road, Hounslow.
The first victim was walking down Lampton Road on Friday afternoon when he was surrounded by three men.
A knife was held to the 26-year-old's back and he was forced into nearby bushes where his wallet and £20 cash were stolen.
The prime suspect is described as a large black man with stubble, aged about 30. He was wearing a light coloured woollen hat and a green woollen sweater at the time of the assault.
A 25-year-old man was later attacked by a group of four Somali men and a white woman as he passed Hounslow Central Tube station in the early hours of Saturday morning.
After being threatened with a knife by one youth, a fight broke out between the victim and the gang.
The woman hit the victim with a bottle but he managed to run away.
The knifeman is described as black, between 19 and 23, with short hair and a blue jumper. The knife is thought to be a black-handled 8in blade.
The other men were Somali and in their 20s.
Any witnesses should call Hounslow CID on 0208 247 6160 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
