Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to as a part of a stabbing investigation in Thornton Heath.
Officers were called on January 8 at 3.35pm to reports of a stabbing on Beulah Road.
A 20-year-old man was found suffering from stab injuries, according to the police.
The victim was taken to a south London hospital for treatment, where he remains in a “stable condition.”
London Ambulance Service had also attended the scene alongside the police.
Anyone who witnessed this incident, has footage, or can name the man in the image should call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting 3897/8JAN.
Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Officers investigating a stabbing in Thornton Heath have issued an image of a man they would like to speak to.
“Police were called at approximately 3.35pm on Saturday, January 8, to reports of a stabbing in Beulah Road.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a 20-year-old man suffering stab injuries.
“He was taken to a south London hospital for treatment, where he remains in a stable condition.
“Anyone who witnessed this incident, has footage, or can name the man in the image should call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting 3897/8JAN.
“Information can be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
