Christmas at Kew has been named as the most picturesque Christmas market in the UK.
A new study has revealed there were 52,780 posts on Instagram using the market's hashtag - #christmasatkew - which made it come out at number one.
Manchester's Christmas market came in second place - with 48,252 posts with the relevant hashtag.
This was followed by Edinburgh, Bath and Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland.
Christmas at Kew also ranks at number two out of more than 600 markets that take place across the UK and mainland Europe at Christmas.
The annual after-dark festivities at Kew Gardens light up the evening skies as sparkling tunnels of light, waterside reflections and jewelled trees lead the way to the Palm House light display.
The research, carried out by PaulCamper, found that Zagreb’s Advent in Zagreb is the most photographed Christmas market - with 68,315 posts on Instagram with its hashtag.
This was followed by London’s Christmas at Kew in second and Manchester Christmas Market in third.
Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland also came in the top 10 in Europe - ranking at number nine with 16,225 hashtags.
