*UPDATE* All three girls have since been found, Surrey Police have said. 

There is "increasing concern" among Surrey authorities for three teenage girls who have been reported missing from the Elmbridge area.

"Officers are growing increasingly concerned for their welfare. We are working with the Metropolitan Police and Sussex Police whilst we carry out our search," a spokesperson for Surrey Police said.

The teenage trio are "believed that the girls are together and may be travelling on foot, or by public transport," the police statement continued.

PC Jake Boatman, who is leading the investigation, appealed to the girls directly, emphasizing they were not in trouble.

"None of you are in trouble, we just want to hear from you. If you don’t want to speak to the police you can call or text, the Missing People charity on 116 000," he said.
