A FAMOUS face dropped in on care home residents to lead them in an exercise routine.

Staff and residents at Newlands in Workington were treated to an armchair work-out courtesy of the so-calle Green Goddess, Diana Moran.

Diana rose to fame as a glamorous fitness guru on BBC Breakfast Time in the 1980s, and now works with furniture company Shackletons as their health and wellness adviser.

Following the session the residents took part in a mindfulness session led by Shackleton's Emma Raybould.

General Manager, Kim Whelan, said: “Our residents all remember the Green Goddess from Breakfast TV in the 80s so they really enjoyed seeing her on screen. The mindfulness session was the perfect way to relax afterwards.”
