Richmond and Teddington train stations will undergo a £1.5 million repainting programme.

When travel restrictions ease, customers at eight of South Western Railway’s London stations will get a refreshed look due to a £1.5 million repainting project.

The programme, which is ongoing, will see 46 stations across the South Western Railway network repainted both internally and externally.

London stations Wimbledon, Kingston, Berrylands, Richmond, Teddington, Tolworth, Vauxhall and Wandsworth Town have either been repainted or are in process of having the work done.

Alan Penlington, South Western Railway’s Director of Customer Experience, said: “At South Western Railway, we are committed to improving our stations and performance at every stage of the journey. We know that great customer service consists of more than getting people from A to B, and our determination to enhance our stations is just one example of improving the wider travel experience.

“The £1.5 million investment will smarten up a range of stations across our network and we hope customers at Richmond and Teddington will enjoy the new look.”
