Despite not being able to meet for their monthly meetings members of the Women's Institution have donated 41 hampers to vulnerable members of the community.
Maldon Wycke Women's Institute donated the hampers to The Cafe at St Peter's Hospital to help the local community during the coronavirus pandemic.
The hampers will be delivered to elderly and vulnerable members of the local community in the coming weeks to being a smile to their faces in the fun up to the Christmas period.
Secretary Nicola Martin delivered the hampers to the hospital over the past few months.
She said: "These hampers will be distributed to elderly and vulnerable members of the local community over the coming weeks and hopefully bring some much needed smiles to face.
"A huge thank you to all our members who donated hampers, this shows what a great WI group we have."
The hampers included food, gifts and homemade Christmas Tree decorations made by members.
