PICTURES show fire crews attending a reported shed fire in Southend.
The incident took place on Branksome Road, Southend yesterday afternoon.
Residents shared how just after 2pm they spotted smoke in front of their windows, growing quickly within a few minutes.
The smoke could reportedly be seen from three houses away.
At least two fire engines attended the scene.
Pictures from the scene show what appears to be a garden shed on fire.
A spokesman for the Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to Branksome Road yesterday (Tuesday) at 1.30pm.
"Two crews from Southend attended and found a shed, measuring approximately 6m by 4m, completely alight.
"Crews fully extinguished the fire by 1.49pm. The cause has been recorded as accidental."
