Father Christmas in his sleigh pulled by a team of reindeers, all wearing face masks, is one of the winning designs picked for its festive creativity in Hertsmere Borough Council's annual seasonal card competition.
More than 50 entries were received from primary school youngsters in this year's competition.
Four children were chosen to receive prizes and attend a virtual presentation with the deputy mayor of Hertsmere, Councillor Anne Swerling, on Monday
Ten-year-old Edie Cogger, from Bushey Manor Junior School, and Nathan Mgbor, 8, from Ladbrooke JMI School in Potters Bar have been named overall winners of this year’s contest.

While Nathan's colourful image showing different festive figures emerging from some wrapping was named as the Mayor of Hertsmere's card.

Two runners-up were also announced. They are Daniyal Raza, 6, from Saffron Green Primary School in Borehamwood, who caught everyone's attention with his striking picture of Father Christmas delivering presents, and Ellie-Lara Paphitis, 5, from Ladbrooke JMI School.
They received a certificate, gift voucher, and a pack of their own cards to give to friends and family.

Cllr Swerling said: "This year has been challenging for all of us, so it was particularly heartening to see so many wonderfully creative designs submitted for our seasonal card competition.
"The standard of entries was very high and I want to thank everyone who took part. We really appreciate the support our competition receives from schools and the local community each year.
"I had the honour of judging the entries and speaking to the winners virtually after our Mayor of Hertsmere, Councillor Cynthia Barker, so sadly passed away in September.
"It would have been a task Cynthia would have loved to do and I'm sorry she wasn't here to be involved, but I know she would have been happy with the choices made.
"As a special mention, I'd like to thank Cynthia's grandchildren, Grace and Ethan, who took part in the competition for their designs. I think their grandmother would have been particularly thrilled with their creations."
All the entries will be available to view on the front window of the council's civic offices in Borehamwood as part of the Window Wanderland scheme, organised by InspireAll, in partnership with the borough council, Elstree and Borehamwood Town Council, Aldenham Parish Council, Bushey Festival, Christmas in Potters Bar and Family Centre Services Hertsmere.
The Window Wanderland scheme is the first event of its kind in the borough. Residents and businesses are being asked to decorate their street-facing properties, cars or gardens with an illuminated display. It will run on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December.
