Two members of staff have tested positive for coronavirus at an upmarket restaurant chain in Richmond.
The Ivy Café, on Hill St, told the Richmond & Twickenham Times today that some of its staff had tested positive for the virus, and others were awaiting test results.
The restaurant - which is famous for its flagship Covent Garden eatery - said it was taking all the necessary precautions.
A spokesperson for The Ivy Café, Richmond said:
“We can confirm that two members of staff have tested positive for COVID-19. Both employees self-isolated with immediate effect, as well as those who came into close proximity to them.
"Our policies and health and safety measures are fully in-line with Government guidelines and all other staff members are being tested.”
