POLICE found cannabis plants with a street value of more than £160,000 in a Clayton-Le-Moors pub.
Neighbourhood teams from Hyndburn Police attended the Wellington Hotel on Barnes Square on September 19.
A police spokesman said: “Upon Officers gaining access to the premises, they have located a large cannabis set up finding 324 mature cannabis plants growing within numerous rooms of the property.
“The cannabis farm was made safe by Electricity North West due to the supply being bypassed.
“Officers from all sections of the Hyndburn Neighbourhood Team dismantled the set-up seizing plants with a street value of over £162,000 along with all the propagation equipment.
“The Local Hyndburn policing team would like to thank the community for their on-going support, stay safe.”
The Lancashire Telegraph reported in May that plans to turn the pub into a dental clinic had been submitted.
