A MAN appeared in court for wasting police time after crashing a car.
Taylor Evans drove a Vauxhall without due care and attention in South Street, Worthing.
At Worthing Magistrates’ Court he also admitted failing to stop at the scene of an accident and driving without a valid licence or insurance.
Evans, 19, of Barnet Way Durrington, also made a false report to the police about the incident. He was told to do 150 hours of unpaid work and pay £400 compensation. He was banned for six months.
