The Duke in Marlow has announced that its popular Chinese dishes will remain following their reopening.

The Queens Road eatery had seven weeks worth of renovation works between March and May, with the pub being transformed into a modern restaurant, bar, and music venue.

But despite all the changes, the Duke confirmed that their much-loved Chinese menu will remain, with Marlow chef Ling Poon leading the kitchen.

Prior to working at the Duke, Ling had also worked at the Coach and Horses in the town.

In a brief statement one today before the new-look restaurant reopened on July 29, a spokesperson said: “For the past week, Ling, family, and team have been flat out preparing for service from lunchtime tomorrow [July 29].

“She is very much looking forward to seeing old friends and new customers alike as we launch a brilliant new menu and venue for Marlow!”
