A driver has appeared in court accused of mowing down a plumber during a mass brawl in a Chislehurst park.
Alfie Tullett, 32, allegedly killed Frankie Bulbrook after a violent disturbance erupted between two groups in on the evening of Friday July 24.
It is claimed that during the fight, Tullett deliberately drove a blue transit van over 34-year-old Mr Bulbrook.
Emergency services called to the scene near Belmont Lane and Imperial Way found the victim fatally injured.
The cause of death was said to be chest and abdominal injuries consistent with being run over by a vehicle.
On July 30, Tullett was charged with murder and violent disorder.
He appeared in the dock at the Old Bailey before Judge Mark Lucraft QC on Tuesday.
Tullett, of Catlyn Close, East Malling, Kent, spoke to confirm his identity, giving his nationality as "white British".
Judge Lucraft set a timetable for the case, including a plea hearing on October 23.
No provisional trial date was set due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Tullett gestured to a supporter in the public gallery, saying "I love you", as he was remanded into custody.
