A VEHICLE crashed into a bridge causing trains to be delayed.
The incident happened between Barnham and Littlehampton and caused disruption on the line connecting the two areas.
A Southern Rail spokesman said: "Due to a vehicle colliding with a bridge between Barnham and Littlehampton, trains have to run at a reduced speed on the line towards Littlehampton."
The vehicle crashed shortly before 10am. Delays continued on the line until about 11.30am, when Southern confirmed services between the two stations had returned to normal.
