Richmond and Kingston police officers joined in on the national round of applause outside Kingston Hospital yesterday, March 26.
Officers arrived outside the hospital to applaud healthcare staff as a token of appreciation at 8.00 pm.
The applause comes as the rest of the UK all joined in with the round of applause, from outside their door steps, windows and balconies.
Kingston hospital made a post on Twitter to thank the Police for the applaud.
Kingston Hospital said: "Wow how awesome, team Kingston hospital are applauding to you back.
"We couldn't do what we do without Metropolitan Kingston and Richmond police, London Ambulance service and our colleagues in the community."
Richmond and Police posted: "All available officers have been to Kingston Hospital as part of clap for NHS, to show our appreciation for all they and London Ambulance service are doing in this difficult time.
"Thank you also to the wider NHS staff and all key workers."
